Group Chief Accountant
Lokalizacja: WarszawaFor our Client internationally recognized company, we are looking for proactive candidates for the position of Head Of Accounting.
Scope of duties:
- Responsible for Group accounting (financial books, preparation of tax declarations and annual closings, reporting)
- Participate in implementation of analytical solutions for the managerial reporting needs
- Follow and implement all new tax regulations
- Follow and implement new IFRS rules
- Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations
- Responsible for financial projects within the Group
- Managing a team (10 people in three locations)
- Constant monitoring and ongoing improvements of group controlling processes
- Support decision-making processes by performing analysis and monitoring ongoing business operation
Requirements:
- Financial education - degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience gained as Chief Accountant
- Experience in team management (min. 1 year)
- Experience in accounting for sales organization and production
- Very good knowledge of Excel and ERP system SAP R/3 (CO, FI, MM)
- Previous experience in leading projects within the Group
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Very good knowledge of Income Tax, VAT, WHT and transfer pricing rules
- Qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA would be a plus
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Ability to operate in challenging and dynamic environment
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Easiness in identifying issues, presenting them and recommending solutions clearly and in an efficient manner
