Currently, we are looking for candidates to join a new Finance HUB located in Krakow on a position of:
Goods Accounting Specialist
- Process of special price and quantity claims & close collaboration with warehouse, procurement personnel and suppliers for clarification
- Coordinate preparation of goods account for analysis, forecasting and report on behalf of customer
- Accurately execute defined process transactions
- Responsible for the consistent and ongoing adherence to guidelines, internal controls and customer requirements
- Investigate processing errors in respective area of responsibility and drives resolution
- Report operational issues (process or system related) to team lead
- Proactively suggest improvement ideas to drive continuous improvement
- Advise admins within same area of responsibility
- Supports team lead in achieving performance objectives
Skills & Experience:
- 4 - 6 years of experience in a relevant process area role and good overall accounting background including Handling of price and quantity claims, forecast of goods account, preparation of goods account analysis and reporting
- Fluent English (at least C1)
- Ability to work under pressure towards strict deadlines, prioritize and schedule workload
- A high level of numerical and analytical skills
- Strong problem solving and great organization skills, attention to detail, open mindedness
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team as well as communicate with diverse individuals
- Academic degree
- Excellent user knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Very good knowledge of SAP ERP
- US-GAAP and/or European local GAAP experience a plus
- Readiness to travel across the Europe – quarterly (monthly in transition)
