Client Details
Our Client is a global contract logistics company. You will in source bookkeeping from external provider. You'll be reporting directly to local CFO. The genesis of this recruitment is rapidly growing business.
Description
- Responsible for leading and managing full accounting operations including the supervision of a team of 2 accountants
- Prepare financial statements according to Polish Accounting Standards, and to IFRS, reported to Group through BFC tool
- Ensure that chart of accounts are in line with accounting standards, group controlling standards and legal requirements
- Supervise and monitor the entire accounting process including general ledger, payroll, accounts payables, accounts receivables, inventory, fixed assets and cash management
- Manage, develop, and coach operational team of accountants
- Work closely with controlling team
- Support CFO in the relationships with third parties including auditors, tax authorities, etc.
- Proactively work on improving accounting process and take an active role on bringing positive change into the organisation
- Responsible for calculating and preparing tax reports (VAT, CIT, DTA)
- Performing month end closing activities : Revenue recognition, review of Balance Sheet and P&L accounts, monitoring of financial and non-financial assets
- Support transfer pricing policy management and documentation process
- Work closely with CFO in all accounting and tax matters
Profile
- University degree in Finance / Accounting
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in accounting, including at least 3 years of managerial experience
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Business and goal oriented person with the ability to work in changing environment
- Team work oriented person with an enthusiastic approach
- Strong computer skills, particular experience with Excel
- SAP experience (mandatory)
- Fluent English
- Experience in polish and international accounting standards, especially IFRS 16
- Excellent knowledge of tax laws
