Your new companyOur client, a leading company located in Warsaw , is looking for Global Supplier Management Specialist
Your new roleThe successful Candidate will be responsible for support the business to effectively execute SM and embed SM culture, assist in the definition of group policy on SM (including standing instructions, guidelines and templates), be the subject matter expert for SM best practice and the go-to person for SM related matters , identify non-compliance with SM policies and escalate as needed to ensure corrective action is taken, take responsibility for addressing procurement audit actions relating to SM , manage communications with suppliers under direction from the SM lead and deliver the procurement Supplier Risk programme which encompasses supplier risk post contract award. Your daily duties will also include deliver training to ASMs and procurement colleagues, ensuring that training is timely and effective to drive high performance, maintain the Company level segmented supplier list including the Supplier risk list, constantly challenge SM practices and process, identifying and recommending improved ways of working and facilitate the delivery of the ‘Responsible Procurement’ programme by providing timely information and providing support to the team who will undertake supplier corporate responsibility and audits post-contract award.
What you'll need to succeedA successful Candidate should have experience working in with suppliers in a complex, global organization, experience managing stakeholders, knowledge and experience working with Six Sigma or similar project management, experience of working in an environment of change involving people, process, policy and technology and experience in managing quality and performance of external organisations. The Candidate must have fluent English. We are looking for Candidate with strong business and financial acumen with ability to evaluate, analyse and solve problems, ability to influence, align diverse views and gain consensus, breaking down barriers that get in way of effective team working and ability to operate effectively in an environment with tight deadlines and finite resource and uncertainty.The right Candidate must also have excellent stakeholder management skills across a diverse geographic region with the ability to engage with and influence stakeholders.
