For our client, an international leader in the FMCG industry, in connection with the development of internal structures, we are looking for candidates full of passion and commitment fot the position of Global Procurement Buyer - Freight.
Opis stanowiska
- To support the development and implementation of the Freight Category strategy at a Global level,
- Measure and manage overall performance of suppliers,
- To continuously improve ways of working and optimize procurement activities,
- Manage supply chain issues (e.g. crisis management, daily issues),
- Provide consultative advice to Internal business network as a subject matter expertise on Ocean/Road Freight,
- Onboarding new Carriers ,
- Build relationships with carriers, conduct regular meetings to improve business processes and implement initiatives that minimize environmental impact,
- Support and manage tender processes and assisting in the implementation of contractual provisions once the contract is signed,
Profil kandydata
- 3+ years Procurement experience (running procurement processes/contracts, and relationship management),
- Experience in International Ocean Freight,
- Experience using SAP is highly preferred,
- Very good command of English,
- Excel Skills and ability to work quickly with large amounts of numerical data,
- Experience in cooperation with logistics operators, carriers in terms of establishing cooperation and implementing contractual arrangements after the tender procedure,
- Results orientation,
- Proactive and positive team player,
- Strong communication skills.
