THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Belgium.
For one of my clients in the Food Industry I'm currently looking for an ambitious Global Process Engineer who would like to take the next step in their career and lead this company in Process optimization and being the bridge between innovation, value engineering and the central engineering department. The company is moving fast forward on Lean and World Class Manufacturing.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this stand-alone position you're the bridge between different departments, focused on process optimization, energy management and efficiency improvement. As the Global Process Engineering you have direct responsibility over 8 different plants, spread across Europe. You will be providing process support to these plants and lead process optimization studies to document and share best practices. Because you have global responsibility, this means that with this role you will be travelling on regular base.
Because it's a stand-alone position, it's important to have strong communication skills and you know how to handle different stakeholders within an organization. In this role you will be directly reporting to the Lean Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Bridge between Value Engineering, Innovation and Central Engineering
-Supporting 8 plants in process improvement (Global responsibility)
-Support optimization studies and share best practices
-Provide process support on CAPEX projects
-Energy Management & Efficiency Improvement
-Stakeholdermanagement
REQUIREMENTS
-At least 5 years of experience as Process Engineering in the Food Industry
-Strong people-management- and leadership skills
-Experience with process improvement over multiple plants
-Knowledge of Energy Management
-Background in Chemical Engineering
