For our client from automotive industry we are looking forGlobal IT Infrastructure & Operations Architect.
Your new role
The position ofGlobal IT Infrastructure & Operations Architect will be responsiblefor the support and management of global IT infrastructure & network services. The candidate must be a self-starter, able to support the infrastructure & network strategy and provide clarity and direction to our IT teams and partners in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.It's a lead role for the operational and support services based on ITIL operational disciplines. The position requires delivering excellent service to business users and maintaining a stable operation, serves as main interface with IT partners and all other IT cross functional teams.
Some of typical duties would include managing and governing diverse IT Operations hosting environments for infrastructure and network operations, assuring a stable, reliable and scalable model. Oversight of ITOperations
hosting (data centres, computer room and cloud services), DR (disaster recovery), server environments, backup/restore, storage, DB, WAN/LAN, wireless, DNS/DHCP, VoIP, video conference, etc.
Maintain focus on senior management objectives & directives for meeting the IT goals and budget.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful Candidate you need to have Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other equivalent training or experience. It would be great if you had some of the following:
CCNA, CCNP, CCNE, VMware, CompTIA, ServiceNow, Veeam, Microsoft MCSE certifications desired.
ITIL certification is required.
The perfect Candidate has10+ years of progressively responsible experience in global structures in Information Technology with specific knowledge in IToperations and systems management (outsource and insource); working with infrastructure systems, IT vendorsand partners.Demonstrated IT leadership in an IT Operations position, and track record of innovation and providing value.Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
