Your new role
The IT Business Analyst – Manufacturing is part of the Global Competence Team. This person is the global IT partner for the business responsible in Manufacturing / -Engineering and is the liaison between the business management / key stakeholders and the IT departments. This person is responsible for driving improvements in the capability and quality of IT tools and services, especially in the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) area. Analyzing data to support business decision making and define business solutions both business processes and IT services that provide benefits to the business.

Your new role
The IT Business Analyst – Manufacturing is part of the Global Competence Team. This person is the global IT partner for the business responsible in Manufacturing / -Engineering and is the liaison between the business management / key stakeholders and the IT departments. This person is responsible for driving improvements in the capability and quality of IT tools and services, especially in the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) area. Analyzing data to support business decision making and define business solutions both business processes and IT services that provide benefits to the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for successful design and delivery of projects from conception to completion and hands-off to responsible manager: planning, estimation, tracking deliverables, coordinating and leading meetings, providing project updates to all stakeholders and the Steering Committee
- Solution design with internal/external specialists
- Manage internal/external resources to achieve the defined goals
- Manage risks, issues, project scope and change request process
- Demand shaping, organization and prioritising with business and IT; developing roadmaps
- Professional analysis, design and standardization of global target processes and global tools in cooperation with the local organizational units
- Professional evaluation of new innovative technologies and tools to support and optimize business processes
- Leadership – Creates strong morale and team spirit within the project team while actively fostering wins/successes through results.
- Responsible for training and developing IT resources in her/his domain
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Manufacturing Engineering or related field. Master’s degree as advantage
- 2+ years’ experience in the Manufacturing / Engineering and MES area; experience with other IT tools in this area as advantage
- Very good understanding of business processes in the Manufacturing area
- Customer relationship skills and business orientation
- 2+ years’ experience and knowledge in solution conception, process design and implementation
- Ability to work directly with middle to senior management as well as employees
- 2+ years’ experience in managing complex projects with global scope and huge organisations
- Results oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritise multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities.
- Ability to provide IT solutions that meet the business needs while staying within budget and timeline
