For our Client (Global Food Company), we are looking for:
Global Direct BuyerMiejsce pracy: UK/France
Your responsibilities:
- Evaluate supplier capabilities and establish sources for new solutions in new markets as business requirements dictate
- Active support of supplier management process eg. selection, ratings, development, and performance evaluations
- Assist in ensuring the timely negotiation of all agreements including, but not limited to the Global Procurement contracts
- Confirms receipt of purchase orders with Suppliers
- Works with supplier to ensure on-time delivery, correct pricing, changes, lead times or cancellations
- Works with suppliers and materials manager to adjusts delivery dates of materials
- Works directly with, and support initiatives and directives of Global structures EMEA/CEE commodity, global commodity, product line, sales, engineering, publications, and other teams toward best-in-class quality, delivery, and cost
- Supports sourcing of existing and new material as required
- Contact suppliers to schedule, expedite deliveries, resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries and any other discrepancy
What we are looking for:
- Open to relocate to UK or France
- Bachelor Degree
- Analyzing problems, presenting facts, making recommendations, and implementing solutions
- Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in Procurement within Travel & CEE/EMEA Area it will be great
- Skill in preparing analyzing and troubleshooting complex technical consumption related discrepancies
- Good communicator with a strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
- Excellent team player, dynamic and self-motivated
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint skills
- Able to work in diverse environments and adhere to highest ethical standards
- Fluency in English
