Role Description

Global Brand Leader Diabetes

Responsibilities

- Drive the development of the Global Launch Plan for a new product in blood glucose monitoring
- Lead and engage Global Communication Teams / Launch teams to deliver insight-based marketing programs for the product launch
- Drive momentum behind initiatives, ensuring country launch readiness and supporting local launch campaign execution
- Work with Global Advertising/PR Agencies to develop communication strategies to target customers
- Manage the agency Scope of Work
- Coordinate assigned marketing budgets
- Maintain close collaboration and working relationships with regional and country marketing leads and Country Commercialisation Leader to strengthen country marketing plans
- Align global strategy and communications to local needs
- Engage and partner with R&D for future releases
- Support the packaging development process with the global packaging and design team and support the quality management process

Requirements

- University degree with 8 - 10 years experience in Healthcare Marketing, with some years of working internationally
- Launch experience would be advantageous
- Experience within a digital / ehealth /mHealth environment
- High degree of verbal and written competence in English along with flexibility and good judgement
- Experience in developing and executing marketing plans and strategies that enhance market share, drive sales growth momentum and maximise profitability
- Proven performer in effectively handling a large work volume, coping with numerous and constantly changing demands with limited time
- Knowledge of the Diabetes market is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to recognise marketing problems and opportunities, initiating plans to improve the situation
- Solid customer insight credentials and experience with both healthcare professionals and end users
- An ability to effectively communicate at senior levels within an organisation
- An ability and proven record of leading and driving major projects to successful conclusion
