Requirements:
Approximately 4+ years of experience in the financial services sector
Practical experience in managing and leading financial teams
Advanced knowledge of general ledger system and Excel
Proficiency in English (knowledge of another European language would be an advantage)
Ability to meet tight and regular deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in the life/non-life insurance industry will be an advantage
What will be your responsibilities?
Supervise a small team to ensure proper accounting for several countries in the EMEA region
Ensure accurate processing and reporting of financial data to ensure completeness of all monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements prepared in accordance with US GAAP
Completion and review of reconciliations and journal entries
Responsibility for ensuring compliance with company accounting and operating policies, including balance sheet and P+L controls
Identify and implement improvements and efficiencies in the reporting process
