For one of our Clients, a new Shared Services Center (start-up)in Warsaw, we are currently seeking candidates for the position of SENIOR GL ANALYST.
SENIOR GL ANALYSTwill be responsible for reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany activities, assisting with the exception reporting, performing quality checks on work performed by the offshore teams, reviewing, approving, and preparing requests for ad hoc analyses of various types of financial information, ensuring all month-end, quarterly and yearly tasks deliverables are met, and that KPIs and SLAs are continuously met and adhered to. SENIOR GL ANALYSTwill also be assisting with auditors, audit requirements and SOX testing, providing analytical support related to fixed assets, Fixed Assets accounting (maintaining fixed assets records and following-up on certain accounts), performing manual JE and Accrual calculations, as well as supporting journal entry process and month end reporting.
We are looking for Candidates with an Academic Degree in finance or related field, (recognized Accounting qualification e.g. ACCA will be a strong asset) and a minimum of 2 – 5 years of relevant experience in GL,gained preferably in SSCenvironment. Very good English skills(min. B2) are mandatory. Experience working with US GAAP will be considered an asset.
