Candidate's profile:
- Min. 5 years of experience in General Ledger area (shared service industry)
- Knowledge & practical experience in work with Polish GAAP and IFRS
- Tax knowledge
- highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills – comfortable in proposing, initiating and implementing change
- understanding of a complex and fast-paced environment with the ability to manage through change and uncertainty
- outstanding communication and presentation skills, including fluency in English and Polish
- Good knowledge of SAP and MS Excel
Scope of duties:
- ensure that monthly closing, follow-up and analysis are performed with quality in a timely manner
- supervise preparation of annual financial statements and support audits of financial statements
- identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
- develop, implement and maintain procedures and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines
- drive development of Shared service center within your area of responsibility
- implementation of IFRS and adaptation of existing systems and processes to the new accounts principles
- secure compliance, alignment with standard processes, financial targets as well as best practice sharing
- lead, coach and support your team
