GL junior accountant with German

Responsibilities:
- assure accurate and timely postings in general ledger
- conduct complex period end report in conjunction with the SSC
- maintain appropriate levels of technical knowledge and expertise
- assist in preparation of new internal control documentation
- ensure that transactions are carried out according to corporate policies
- university degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics or equivalent field of study
- excellent written and verbal communication skills both in German and English
- previous experience in General Ledger area in SSC/BPO environment would be as asset
- knowledge of SAP or other ERP system would be as asset
- ability to pay close attention to detail
- strong customer focus
