Career opportunity in Warsaw For one of our clients with an SSC based in Warsaw, we are currently seeking candidates for the position of GL ACCOUNTANT.
GL ACCOUNTANT will be responsible for the more complex tasks of the General Ledger accounting side of the team. Candidate will be responsible to complete its tasks accurately in a timely manner and in line with SLAs. Also will be a support for the reporting team when needed. This is a role which involves a wide range of tasks and great development opportunities.

We are looking for candidates who has:
- very good English skills, other languages will be a strong asset
- any relevant experience in finance, preferable in SSC or BPO environment with broad international exposure
- university degree preferable in accounting or related courses (Masters' degree a plus)
- minimum 2 years work experience in Finance in GL/Reporting area
- ability to work on your own
- familiarity with MS Office particularly Excel
- excellent communication (written and oral)
- ability to work in a multicultural environment
- ability to prioritize and manage time wisely in a fast paced environment
- strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Duties of the candidates will be:
- create and book journals for the international firm including accruals and rebates
- perform reviews of the firms ledger to help with month and year end
- create and maintain Balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
- processing posting instructions after consultation with the local teams
- creation of standard reports according to defined time tables
