For our Client Global leader in industrial automation we are currently looking for Candidate interested in joining to the SSC as Accountant in General Ledger.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform journal entry processing
- Prepare recurring accruals, prepayment releases
- Ensure month-end processes are completed accurately and according to month and year end closing schedule
- Ensure that queries related to AP, AR, T&E, etc. are resolved in a timely manner
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports
- Reconcile dedicated GL accounts, resolving any unreconciled items
- Monitor dedicated GL accounts to ensure accurate and timely transaction posting, correcting where required
- Support transition of GL processes if needed
- Provide feedback / suggestions to improve existing processes and update procedures accordingly
- Ensure proper company policies and documented SOX procedures are being followed
- Support audit as required
Qualifications required:
- Good knowledge of financial accounting (experience or education)
- Relevant University degree preferred - Accounting or Finance or equivalent education
- Very good SPANISH
- Good English
- Good knowledge of SAP
- Very good analytical skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office tools
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work within a changing environment
