GL Accountant with French
For our client, an international company, with growing exposure, we are looking for an experienced individual for the role of General Ledger specialist to strengthen its local operations.

Description
- Assist with the accounting and financial analysis
- Participation in month-end closing process and preparation of Quarterly balance sheet analysis
- Prioritize daily work load to meet department and corporate goals
- Review General Ledger accounts and post any corrections/discrepancies
- Responsible for monthly reconciliation of accounts
- Participating in improvement/process optimization projects
- Responsibility over accounting, tax and statistical reporting in assigned entities
- Preparation of ad-hoc reports
- Maintaining fixed assets register and monthly processing of depreciation
- Assist with financial audits
Profile
- Degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field
- Experience in transition of operations to SSC
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Finance and Accounting Operations
- Strong skills in working with expenses, accounting and ability to reconcile accounts
- Strong - oriented to gain new knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Superior customer service skills in a finance environment
- Willingness to travel (possibility to take part in an abroad training)
- Very good knowledge of French and English
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Knowledge of ERP software
