General Manager
This role will suit somebody who has proven experience in an operational management environment with extensive knowledge of manufacturing using Lean principles. Based in south of Warsaw, this role will entail being responsible for the management of both operational activities within the manufacturing sector of the company and commercial ones as well.

Our client has a growing portfolio of projects in packaging business. They are growing constantly and as a result they are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic General Manager to join this young, progressive and diverse team.
Description
- Full P&L responsibility of 4MLN EUR turnover in Poland
- Manage both commercial and all shop floor operational activities (less than 50 employees)
- Develop business by setting and executing commercial goals and manufacturing capacity plans
- Implement and drive continuous improvement methodology using Lean principles
- Support and manage the introduction and approval of all new products

Lead and develop the team, be an ambassador of the company culture, spirit and values

Cooperate with the regional headquarters to identify business opportunities and take decisions on further development

Represent the company internally and externally towards business partners and authorities
Profile
- Master degree in Engineering, Economics or relevant
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an operational manufacturing management environment
- Experience gained in an international packaging company (preferably - metal parts)
- The ability to demonstrate effectiveness in achieving key objectives and performance indicators
- Experience of working to budgets (essential)
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience of Lean Manufacturing principles
- The ability to develop and improve manufacturing and planning strategies
- Excellent people management and motivational skills
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels
- Fluency in Polish and English, German would be a definite asset as well
