General Manager - manufacturing (FMCG)
You, as a General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the business, including PnL management as well as managing Production, Purchasing, Finance as well as matrix report Sales and R&D.
You will report to the group CEO, based in Western Europe.
There are few strategic goals to be achieved by the new General Manager: increase profitability of the business, manage staff turnover as well as increase productivity, manage CI initiatives.

Our client is an international production company in the non food FMCG sector located on the northern part of mazowieckie region. Company is one of the leading manufacturers in the region.
Description
- Responsible for running the site in terms of operational management
- Provide motivational and inspirational leadership to the management team
- Review performance against operating plans. Monitor division performance against performance goals to ensure that objectives are being met and take corrective action if necessary
- Focus on business performance that constantly strives to improve quality and customer satisfaction. Communicate and educate employees to embrace business's continuous improvement programs.
- Design plans and processes improvement to enable the business to be prepared for future growth
- Development of the strategic business plan for the business unit
- Responsibility for the site's P&L and financial results
- Drive up performance and quality
Profile
- Minimum 7 years of manufacturing P&L responsibility, as well as of operational management experience
- Experience in successful implementation and running of recognised process improvements
- Proven leadership experience. Ability to motivate and guide team members throughout the organisation, and to maintain efficient and productive work relationships
- Native polish language speaker and strong English spoken, written, presentation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and clear focus on business profitability
- Strong manufacturing awareness, preferably in FMCG industry
- Result-oriented with a strong track of performance, cost management and bottom-line orientation
- Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise effectively while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
