For our Clientone of the world's leading direct sales companies we are currently looking for financial professional with experience in people management who will join to the SSC in Krakow as a General Ledger Team Leader.
On this position you will manage and lead GL finance and accounting team (10 FTE), be responsible for local polish statutory reporting, approving Balance Sheet Reconciliation & analyzing month to month variances, control the period end close, support team members with solving difficult issues, hands-on approach – understanding tasks of individual team members & being able to step in if needed. You will be the main point of contact for external and internal audits and be dedicated to manage relationships with Clients affiliates.You will perform risk assessment, prepare and execute risk mitigation plan in cooperation with Process Manager and be engage in maintain Desktop Procedures for all processes handled within function.
To be successful on this position you need to have previous experience (min.5 years) within Finance area including min. 1 year of supervisory experience. Fluent language skills both written and spoken in English and Polish are required together with strong knowledge of accounting standards and depth knowledge of General Ledger.Experience of working with US GAAP will be an asset. Strong leadership skills, team oriented, professional approach to work and strong customer driven focus are important.
