For our client Phoenix Contact Wielkopolska we are looking for General Ledger/Fixed Assets Specialist with German who will join Client's newly created SSC based in Poznań.
Tasks:
- You will set up the asset master data, accompany asset transactions and carry out asset retirements and transfers.
- You will also develop and maintain master data management in asset accounting.
- You will contribute to the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements and support the inventory of existing fixed assets.
- In addition, you advise and support the cost center responsible regarding matters requiring capitalization.
- You will post and manage capital expenditure support activities and act as a point of contact for auditors during annual audits.
- You will generate defined standard reports and process ad-hoc requests.
- You will contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Higher education degree in Finance/Accounting or other related fields.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles.
- More than three years of professional experience in a similar position, preferably within SSC environment.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
- Very good level of German and communicative English
- SAP FI/CO knowledge is a must have.
- Good communication skills, being a team player and enjoying working within international environment.
