Currently, we are looking for candidates to join a new Finance HUB located in Krakow on a position of:
General Ledger/Accounts Payable/Receivable
Senior Finance Specialist
- Support AP & AR teams with ad-hoc tasks
- Prepare and post special journal entries for GL-Accounting and Fixed Assets
- Perform period closing
- Perform Cost Accounting and Intercompany Accounting
- Oversee GAAP-reconciliations
- Investigate processing errors in respective area of responsibility and drives resolution
- Report operational issues (process or system related) to team lead
- Proactively suggest improvement ideas to drive continuous improvement
- Advises admin within same area of responsibility
- Deliver customer service in line with agreed procedures
- Support team lead in achieving performance objectives
Skills & Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in GL processes and good overall accounting background (with first leadership experience acquired)
- Experience in AP and/or AR
- Proficient in English (B2/C1)
- Very good (B2) German will be beneficial
- Proven experience in a multi-country, multiple legal entity environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to details
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team and communicate with diverse individuals
- Academic degree
- Excellent user knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Very good knowledge of SAP ERP
- US-GAAP and/or European local GAAP experience a plus
- Readiness to travel across the Europe – quarterly (monthly in transition)
