To achieve our ambitious growth goals we are currently looking for a General Ledger accountant to join our Finance team in Luxembourg and support the financial year end process.

To achieve our ambitious growth goals we are currently looking for a General Ledger accountant to join our Finance team in Luxembourg and support the financial year end process.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- reconciliation of general ledger accounts, review of accrual accuracy and completeness
- preparation of key documents needed for the year-end close
- preparation of annual financial statements (P&L Balance Sheet and the Notes)
- cooperation with external auditors and coordination of audit requests
- close cooperation with the accounting team and other internal stakeholders.
Your skills and experience
The successful candidate will bring the following:
- Master degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related subject;
- experience (>5 years) in a Finance department of a (preferably) multinational company; financial services organization and knowledge of the investment fund industry would be an asset
- strong analytical skills and understanding of accounting processes especially regarding general ledger accounting and year-end close
- experience in cooperating with the auditors and handling auditors’ requests
- knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook); knowledge of SAP is a plus;
- strong interpersonal skills (communication with colleagues and (senior) management)
- good time management skills and work-organization
- fluency in English. German language skills would be a plus.
