For our Client, one of the world's leading producers of fiber-based packaging, pulp and paper, which located a Shared Service Center in Krakow, we are now looking for a professional, who is able to take a position of GFS Accountant / Senior Accountant. The company is offering great opportunity to develop your carrier path in accounting in the international environment and be important part of the international team.
GFS Accountant will calculate, prepare and post of journal entries, perform the execution of the month-end, quarter-end and the year-end close activities as well as reconcile balance sheets accounts including follow-ups with local finance teams and business partners.You will also participate in various financial projects and providing ad hoc analysis and support Finance Directors and Finance Controllers on daily basis in identifying, defining and implementing process improvements and processes standardization.
The Ideal Candidate should have university degree in finance and accounting/economy/business administration, at least 2 years of practical accounting experience in accounting area (good understanding of AP/AR or GL processes). Professional requirements include analytical skills, passion for detail, reliability, “can do” attitude, goals driven, flexibility, good written and oral communication skills in English and Italian or French or Spanish. Good knowledge of MS Excel, and other MS Office applications. SAP experience would be an advantage.
