For our Client, a global company – one of the leading companies in its industry, employing nearly 39,000 people in entities located in North America, South America, Europe and Asia, we are currently looking for Lead Accountant who would like to leads company accounting. This is a hands-on lead role requiring broad process knowledge across multiple company corporate processes and local Polish rules and regulations.
Lead Accountant will be responsible for establish adherence to corporate standard chart of accounts and ensures account assignment agrees to the standard definition for account usage, prepare and review balance sheet, income statement and other reports to understand and interpret current and projected financial position. You will make recommendations regarding the proper accounting treatment for accruals, reserves, assets and expenditures in line with corporate requirements as well as you will participate in deploying corporate process and system controls. Moreover you will lead and motivate the development of a highly skilled and cohesive accounting team.
A perfect Candidate should have a finance or accounting degree and at least 5 years of experience in Accountancy and presents deeply understanding of General Ledger process, as well as be fluent in English. Knowledge of MS Office, especially in Excel is required. We are looking for Candidates characterized by good problems-solving skills, attention to details, ability to work under tight deadlines and excellent communication skills. Working knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP as well as local Polish rules and regulation is essential.
