To achieve our ambitious growth goals, we are currently looking for a Team Leader to join the Derivatives and FX-Team, part of the Operations Division (Fund Administration Services). The exciting position combines hands-on daily business and building up team structure to cope with substantial growth.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
• processing and accounting derivatives transactions (exchange traded and OTC-traded, incl. different types of Total return swaps), as well as foreign exchange transactions
• processing and resolving differences, claims and complaints with the custodians, asset managers and internal units
• supporting processing of new fund projects and implementing new products
• driving implementation of digital initiatives and transformation projects (incl. submitting proposals for improvement, concepts, carrying out tests and implementation measures in the systems)
• building up team structure incl. capacity management, responsibilities, control & escalation mechanism
• lead, motivate and develop team members (incl performance review process)
• working on technical onboarding of new partners.
• preparing regulatory reports (EMIR)
• ensuring quality of existing processes
• contact point for internal and external auditors
What you offer:
As successful candidate, you will bring the following:
• experience in fund accounting area ideally from investment management company or custodian and/or in the securities accounting department of a bank;
• previous experience as a Supervisor/Team Leader in Operations, ability to delegate tasks and build engagement
• strong analytical skillset and attention to details, solution orientation
• knowledge of different investment products / finance instruments (FX, ETD, OTC, TBA, TRS, etc.);
• familiarity with setting up transaction models (Advisory, Outsourcing, Insourcing)
• knowledge of sFTP connections and interfaces and archiving structures
• knowledge of the implementation and the settlement of ETD transactions (direct and 3rd party);
• ideally - experience in working with XENTIS and Bloomberg;
• university degree in banking studies or business management advantageous
• fluent English, German would be a plus
