To realize our ambitious goals we are currently looking for a Team Leader to join the Corporate Actions & Interest team, part of the Operations Division (Core Fund Accounting). The exciting position combines hands-on daily business and building up team structure to cope with substantial growth.
Your areas of responsibility:
• recording and posting of income payments (including dividends, coupons, interest, withholding tax refunds and payments in connection with term loans and alternative investments)
• quality assurance of reconciliation tasks
• managing complaints with the custodians, asset managers and internal units
• supporting processing of new fund projects and implementing new products
• driving process improvement and digital initiatives as well as transformation projects
• building up team structure incl. capacity management, performance review, implementation and development of KPIs
• leading, motivating and developing team members
• ensuring that processes are delivered efficiently and effectively as well as governed appropriately
• direct contact partner for internal and external auditors
• updating working procedures
Your skills and experience
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following:
• university degree in banking studies or business management would be advantageous
• solid experience in fund accounting area ideally from investment management company or custodian and/or in the securities accounting department of a bank
• previous experience as a Supervisor/Team Leader in Operations, ability to dele-gate tasks and build engagement
• strong analytical skillset and attention to details, solution orientation
• knowledge of different investment products / finance instruments (securities, loans, funds, fixed deposits, etc.);
• familiarity with setting up transaction models (Advisory, Outsourcing);
• knowledge of the implementation and the settlement of commercial transactions;
• proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
• experience in fund accounting system, Swift and Bloomberg is a plus
• very good English skills
