A new opportunity has arisen within one of the fastest growing financial services structures on the Warsaw market. The company is currently looking for a Fund Accountant to join their newly-created team.
Fund AccountantMiejsce pracy: Warszawa
Responsibilities:
Daily calculation and reporting of P&L and Balance Sheet statements for respective trading desks, including reconciliation, analytical review, driver analysis.
Understanding pricing and valuation issues, including off-market rate analysis in respect of all positions held by the desk.
Prepare investor financial and ad hoc reporting, fund analysis and dealing with regulatory reporting (AIFMD, Solvency II etc.).
Understand fund FX positions, report on exposure and perform scenario analysis.
Identifying operational risk and ensuring the relevant controls are in place and working effectively. Acting as a key business contact and building relationships with Front Office to understand information requirements.
Requirements:
Degree level education in finance/banking/economy or equivalent.
1-5 years of experience within fund accounting / accounting / PE / Asset Management / performance analysis gained in the financial services industry.
Ability to work with limited hands on direction – direct reporting line will be to the London office.
Fluency in English language.
Excellent technical skills.
Willingness to travel to London for training.
