On behalf of our Client, a fast growing operation centre in Warsaw, we are currently seeking Candidate for the position of Fund Accountant in the Private Equity and Real Estate Funds team.
Your new role
Holding this position your duties will include managing accounting operations for private equity and real estate funds, daily transactions booking and reconciliations of accounting records versus custody positions. You will also prepare accounting reports as well as statuary accounts and their evaluation. Furthermore, you will investigate discrepancies and it will be expected from you to proposing procedure and controls enhancements. In this role, you will be liaising with internal business partners and will be in charge of timely completion of management information. Lastly, you will actively participate in the evolution of the department.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role should possess minimum 1 year of experience in the Funds Accounting operations as well as knowledge of Investment Fund Industry and Securities Market. Good knowledge of Private Equity and Real Estate specifies would be an advantage. We are seeking a Candidate with fluency in English, high level of accuracy and analytical skills as well as proficient command of MS Office, especially Excel. Additionally, excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as a team player as well as high attention to quality, eagerness to learn and develop personal skills would be beneficial.
