We at NEXT42 are building a revolutionary new website to help big industry find emerging startups globally. Our partners are international corporations, big investors and public institutions wishing to find tomorrow’s startup unicorns. Our new product is helping to connect budding new tech to big industry. We are the vital stepping stone in the development of tomorrow’s big technologies.
Responsibilities:
Leading role in driving the development of our website, both backend and frontend.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven record of having successfully shipped a web-based product with both frontend and backend involvement. Please list examples of your work.
If these products were shipped as a team-member, explain which parts were your exclusive contribution.
- Proven record of being able to quickly learn about and command a new technology / programming language / framework. Please provide examples in your application.
- Proof that you are self-directed and can cope working without a spec. In fact, you will be required to create your own spec and architecture!
- Very good knowledge of at least 1 backend scripting language and 1 frontend scripting language.
Preferred Qualifications (optional):
- Experience in Python, Django, Django Rest Framework for backend and Javascript with React and Redux for frontend.
- Confident working with Linux and bash.
- Basic working knowledge of machine learning algorithms, especially in Python’s scikit-learn.
- Previous Senior Programmer / CTO experience.
