Frontend Developer with React

In this role you will be responsible for developing accurate, efficient and easy to maintain web applications. The deliverables should be well tested, accompanied with good documentation, according to specification and set standards, and completed within the allocated timeline.

Key Accountabilities:
- Working with your team mates to agreed timescales and standards; working closely with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, QAs and UX design
- Applying your technical experience in the development of high quality applications/systems as per the agreed requirements; delivering on time and to group and local standards
- Being part of a multi-disciplinary, agile product team designing and building distributed systems using modern technology stacks with the ability to quickly pick up new technologies/paradigms and to implement solutions across the full stack
- Producing efficient code that is meeting definition of done for business requirements, taking into account
- technical dependencies and non-functional requirements
- Ensuring system supports business needs in terms of design, technical debt is under control and the system can be cost-effectively maintained
- Conducting unit testing of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired results and that the instructions are correct
- Challenging code, design, implementation to ensure they are of highest quality, in line with company and industry standards
- Maintaining and developing good, clear communications and relationships as appropriate with development team members and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Extensive client-side and server-side JavaScript development experience (with ES6+, React or Angular.js, Node.js, Redux, Flow, PostCSS) along with JavaScript unit testing frameworks (eg. Mocha) and build utilities (e.g. Babel, Webpack)
- Be a strong contributor in designing and developing responsive web applications while coding primarily in JavaScript and familiarity with other web technologies (e.g. Web service APIs, JSON-RPC, HTML5, CSS3, web sockets, WebRTC)
- Have worked in Git, TDD/BDD and continuous integration / deployment
- Good analytical skills
- Very good command of English
- A high level of motivation, quick to learn and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Server-side JavaScript development experience
- Previous knowledge of the following technologies: Maven, Jenkins, Groovy
- Development and testing principles, processes and methodologies (BDD, Agile)
- Innovative approach to solving complex problems with an excellent level of attention to detail
- Front End Ninjas are welcome
