Front End Developer (Ruby)
Workplace: Cracow
Responsibilities:
To enhance and evolve existing web application.
Requirements
- 2 - 5 years of Ruby and web application development (with recent relevant experience using Rails 3)
- Database – Knowledgeable in MySQL and SQL query language (ability to write and optimize SQL queries)
- 2 - 5 years of experience with modern web protocols and markup languages (CSS, Javascript, Jquery, HTML, AJAX, etc) and Cross-browser Compatibilityn Experience.
- Systems Administration - basic Linux server admin skills.
- Good English
Additional skills:
- Experience designing and building consumer web applications with particular attention to scalability and high performance
- Agile software development methodology
- Test driven development experience
- Google AdWords knowledge
- Experience with Nginx/Passenger, Varnish, REE, CDN
- HTML 5 knowledge
