Key Areas Of Responsibility
The Software Security Engineer develops, maintains and assesses security features in the scanner and takes responsibility in addressing security during the product development cycle.
§ Performs hardening on Application level, OS, SQL and Webserver
§ Initiates and leads code security reviews
§ Performs penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and technical product security audits
§ Troubleshooting integration problems related to security
§ Teams up with Product Owners and product architects on security architecture and implementation
§ Ensures the backlog of security epics/stories is accurate and complete
§ Between 3 and 5 years of experience in security development
§ Experienced software developer in JAVA. Knowledge of Spring security is a plus
§ Deep understanding of software security coding in Java and optional C++
§ Deep understanding of Linux (preferable Redhat) security configuration
§ Experience with System architecture and component integration
§ Good understanding of web technology stack
§ Experience with software security hardening and penetration test tools is a plus
§ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
§ Experience in implementing secure software under cybersecurity frameworks is a plus
§ Strong written and verbal communication in English language
