Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Brabant Flamand Belgium.
The company is a large multinational and has expanded over the recent years. They have multiple offices all over the world and they have more than 200.000 employees in service worldwide. The culture in the company is characterized by a flat organizational structure.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Freelance Automation Manager, you will operate in a small team that has a lot of freedom and responsibility to accomplish results and realize improvements. You will be responsible for the strategic outline of automation processes in the factory. The estimate duration of the project is 6 months, but there is a possibility that the contract will be extended to 1 year.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You are responsible for the realization of targets regarding the automation process.
- Automation system architect concerning hardware, software, data structure and network.
- You will carry out operation audits and give advice concerning the implementation of improvements.
- You will keep up with documentation regarding work that has to be carried out by the engineering teams.
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc Industrial Automation or similar.
- Knowledge of PLC, DSC & SCADA (Siemens, Rockwell).
- At least 5 years of experience in the Food Industry.
- Hands-on mentality.
- English Communication (Dutch and French is desirable).
