We are looking for a newly created position of Business Controller (FP&A area). The Client is a organization operating in the manufacturing services sector. In Poland they employ a small number of people, mainly in sales and operations. They would like to locate in our country the function of Business Controller to support in the area of FP&A for the European region (a total of 20 countries, each with local financial departments), there are already several such people in the organization but they are located in other countries. In our country it is a new function resulting from the growth of their presence in Europe. The company is open to working 100% of the time remotely and has an office in Warsaw.

Duties:

  • Responsible for the planning and control process within business domains, give advice based on the analysis of business plans, determine short/long-term financial implications and capital requirements
  • Support the business in the financial set-up and structuring of their initiatives and M&A activities. Execute calculations of investment proposals
  • Maintenance and optimization of the administrative organization/internal control processes, procedures and systems.
  • Maintain HFM, Tableau reports and structures to ensure compliance with the IFRS rules
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of financial Tableau and other BI reports.
  • Responsible for the available PF&A reports and responsible for general management reports and presentations
  • involvement and control on project acceptance (profitability, cashflow, risk management) and project execution (progress versus plan, cost completeness, revenue recognition and cash flow)

Requirements:

  • Academic level with more than 5 years relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of all business processes, as well as of the controlling aspects to be applied
  • Has a good understanding of SAP, HFM and Tableau, being able to explain to internal parties about chosen solutions based on content-driven arguments.
  • Dealing with multiple interests
  • English (verbal and written) is crucial for this position.
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Flexible attitude, problem solving skills and splendid troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
