For our client, international automotive company, we are looking for a FP&A Manager. This role will serve as a critical link between the European FP&A organization and the Components finance organization, working as the primary contact for the European FP&A team with respect to key analyses, calculations, forecasts, budgets, etc. and also provides finance support for the Components Business Partner and VP Components by supporting, influencing and challenging key decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides finance support covering the Components functional business portfolio across Europe.
  • Supports and influences strategic decisions by means of sound business analysis (business modeling, opportunity & risk assessments, scenario analysis, etc.) and an “outside in” focus.
  • Identifies and influences Components functional improvement through analysis of financial plans, management information and performance 
  • Owns robust and detailed budgeting & forecasting processes, including in-depth analysis of revenues, costs base, and risks and opportunities – analyzes consolidated budgets and forecasts, and provides interpretation and guidance
  • Monitors the financial position of the Components function - identifies risks and opportunities to financial projections and takes corrective actions where needed
  • Coordinates and leads the Components function Monthly Business Review Meeting, Annual Budgeting process, and reports and analysis across his/her central function
  • Provides perceptive management insight including reporting commentary, management presentations & ad hoc reporting as required by the Components function
  • Supports, influences and challenges delivery of functional strategy, including organizational improvements and restructuring, by means of convincing and solid factual plans
  • Manages capital investments and monitors performance of business cases
  • Ensures compliance and a strong and efficient internal control environment
  • Exhibits a strong focus on people development within own area and consistently improves capabilities and engagement in the indirect team
  • Supports developing and enhancing function KPIs, reports, and analysis to provide business insight, and to allow fact-based decisions

Key and Desired Skills:
  • University degree in relevant field (business, finance, accounting, economics)
  • Balanced financial experience, including FP&A, Accounting & Internal Control, and prior business decision support
  • Progressive experience in business and staff management roles
  • Strong business orientation – ability to understand and explain business results and translate into financial consequences
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
