Food Sourcing Expert - based in Vietam
Our client is acknowledged, international food producer and retailer. Due to extensive growth of their business in South East Asia, we are looking to recruit an experienced Category Manager, who will take on the responsibility to establish and develop local purchasing team in Vietnam.

Description
- Be responsible for all fresh and dry food category - including sourcing, price negotiations, logistics aspects
- Review and develop all procurement and category management processes and procedures in the department, working closely with logistics and finance functions
- Establish good cooperation with company's strategic suppliers (mostly local organizations) and be responsible for the most important contracts
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitors' actions within assigned category
- Prepare and develop proper reporting to assure data visibility for the top management
- Lead and manage subordinate team of buyers, assuring to share best practices and coach them on daily basis
Profile
- Higher education, preferably in economics, marketing, international trade
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, category management
- Minimum 2 years of experience in food sector
- Strong analytic and communication skills, able to translate numbers into action plan
- Very good people skills, proven ability to work with multicultural environment
- Proven track of success in establishing and developing relations with suppliers
- Excellent English and Polish written and spoken
- Vietnamese skills would be a strong asset
