For our Client Global leader in industrial automation we are currently looking for Candidate interested in joining to the SSC as Fixed Asset Accountant.
Key responsibilities:
- Process Budget Approval requests, asset capitalization forms
- Perform asset disposals, transfer, scrapping and retirements
- Perform assigned month end tasks for fixed assets
- Reconcile dedicated GL accounts and resolve any unreconciled items on a monthly basis
- Prepare related journal entries and distribute fixed asset reports
- Asset tagging
- Participate in annual inventory process (documentation work), annual process of FA and Investment Management closure
- Provide feedback/ suggestions to improve existing processes and update procedures accordingly,
- Build and maintain good working relationships with relevant teams across a wide range of areas throughout the organization
- Ensure proper company policies and documented Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX�) procedures are being followed
Qualifications required:
- Good knowledge of financial accounting
- Proven experience on a similar position or/anding FA, GL, AP, AR, IC or T&E
- Relevant University degree preferred - Accounting or Finance or equivalent education
- Advanced English
- Good Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels
- Flexibility to work within a changing environment
- SAP knowledge will be an asset
- Portuguese language will be an asset
