This position is within the Finance department in our client's Research & Development organization supporting the Centre of Excellence Global Governmental Grant Office. Our client's Research & Development organization aims to transform patients' lives by discovering and developing innovative solutions to address the most important medical needs of our time.
• Preparation monthly input for invoices to external funding organisations:
- Hours (Time Reporting by researchers): retrieval of data and checks
- Out-Of-Pocket Expenses (3rd party vendors): retrieval of data, invoice documentation and checks
- Consultants: retrieval of data, invoice documentation and reconciliation
- Follow-up on project structure in SAP
- Janssen Supply Chain charges: reconciliation and supporting documentation preparation
• Review Monthly invoices to BARDA (Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority) and NIH (National Institute of Health) – Institutions
linked to the US Government
• Review of Quarterly invoices to CEPI (Alliance to develop new vaccines to prevent and contain infectious disease epidemics)
• Prepare Monthly Business Analytics:
- Funding by work package
- Hours reported
- Vendors
• Project follow-up by using Earned-Value-Management tool
• Ad hoc tasks
- Experience: 2-4 years relevant financial experience, preferably in larger companies.
- Technical aptitude, strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English; Dutch is an asset
- To demonstrate talent and drive
- Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
