Financial Accountant
Our Client is looking for a Financial Accountant to be responsible for all accounting and bookkeeping of the company, the monthly closing and VAT reporting as well as ongoing coordination of external services such as tax and payroll services. The individual must be proactive in setting up a reliable and efficient accounting environment with stable interfaces to outside and inside accounting partners.

- Bookkeeping & record maintenance for the entities in 2-4 countries including but not limited to, for each entity/country:
- VAT reporting & compliance in all applicable countries.
- Intercompany invoicing and settlement for sales of goods as well as royalties.
- Processing accounts payable in each country/currency.
- Bank account reconciliations.
- Preparation of Month end accruals, schedules on a timely basis.
- Coordinate statutory financial statement audits in each country.
- Assist Global Auditors in Global Audits.
- Coordinate with external advisors on tax return preparation in each country.
- Processing accounts receivable in some exceptions.
- Occasionally preparing a PO or invoice to customers.
- Occasionally creating a credit memo to customers.
- Hold the full responsibility of the transactions taking place in the entity, BS review and reconciliations.
- Preparing the input for CIT for outsourced service provider.
Profile
- High level of accountability for the entities the person is responsible for.
- At least 5 years accounting experience.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies.
- Excellent time management and organizational ability.
- Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines.
- Hands-on approach and problem solver.
- Polish and English language is required.
- German and/or Italian language would be an advantage but not essential.
- Microsoft AX experience would be preferred.
- The perfect candidate is a senior accountant dealing with different kinds of transactions (GL, AP, AR, payments), who's aspiration is the full responsibility for dedicated entity.
