Finance Manager (m/f)

- This position is based in Gdansk and will report directly to the Group CFO

- This position is responsible for management information, forecasting, planning, analysis of business results, and commercial finance business support
Description
- Manage the work and development of staff members
- With the CFO, able to define and implement an MI system based around SAP Business One
- Manage monthly MI and associated business analysis
- Manage a quarterly current year forecasting process for income statement, cash flow and balance sheet
- Manage the annual Budget exercise
- Define the process for and manage the annual 5-year plan
- Provide support to the business on costing and pricing decisions for tenders. Arrange bid bonds as necessary.
- Provide support in valuing potential acquisitions
- Define Own the Groups standards on capital investment appraisal, and lead analysis on capital proposals
- Prepare monthly forecast update, primarily by working closely with department heads
- Develop the SAP Business One BI solution to provide KPI dashboards
- This position is responsible for management information, forecasting, planning, analysis of business results, and commercial finance business support
- The business support will include assisting with pricing decisions for tenders, and analyzing potential acquisitions.

- A desire to assist business leaders grow the business profitably
- A degree
- A professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- At least 7 years post qualification experience
- Prior experience of managing a similar role in an industrial company (or as 2nd in charge)
- Experience of working with modern BI applications
- Highly capable in Excel, PowerPoint and similar tools
- Fluency in English
