Client Details
For our Client, an international FMCG company, we are currently looking for an experienced individual for the position of Finance Manager. The role is based in Warsaw. The Finance Manager will be a key position in the Management Team, closely cooperating with business leaders, including the Management Team.
Description
* Responsible for local statutory accounting and reporting
* Ensure changes in local statutory financial regulations and compliance are timely and properly introduced in the market
* Control of local Cash Flows and General Ledger movements on regular basis
* Liaise with Corporate Finance, Internal Control, SOX, Corporate Tax and provide the service and support required from the market side
* Establish and maintain required level of internal control
* Coordinate Tax audits with local tax authorities and Global Tax team
* Liaise with internal / external auditors and SOX teams and run required testing
* Implement action plans as per audit recommendations
* Ensure right level of service agreed in the Service Level Agreements is provided by Shared Services Centre
* Ensure the necessary level of service is agreed in the Service Level Agreement with outsourced external payroll servicing company and provided in full extend
* Build relation and create clear interface between outsourced payroll provider for efficient employee cost management and reporting
* Coordinate budget process and management of the market structure costs
* Provide necessary financial service and advisory to HR in employee cost related accounting and reporting
* Liaise with local banks
* Challenge the organization to improve inefficient ways of working
* Transfer pricing management in collaboration with Global Tax Team
Profile
* Min of 10 years Finance/Accounting experience in multinational environment
* Big 4 experience is a plus
* Experience in cooperation with shared service companies
* Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance. ACCA/CPA or Polish equivalent (Biegly Rewident) is preferable
* Languages: native Polish and advanced English skills
* Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles (local GAAP & US GAAP), practices, standards, laws
* Ability to work independently and manage different tiers people
* Advanced in managing of multiple tasks under the pressure
* Strong analytical and communication skills that establishes, fosters and maintains working relationships within the Global organization
* Advanced skills on MS Office
