For our Client, an international production company of packaging technology area with a stable opinion located in Gliwice, we are seeking experienced candidates for the position of:
Finance Manager / Chief Accountant
Workplace: Gliwice
Description
- Supervise and monitor the entire accounting process including general ledger, accounts payables, accounts receivables, inventory, fixed assets and cash management
- Prepare financial statements according to Polish Accounting Standards and IFRS
- Responsible for preparing of the tax settlement and reports (VAT, CIT) according to the tax office requirements
- Report to the external financial institution such as GUS and NBP
- Management Reporting and Financial Analysis
- Monthly and yearly closing activities
- Budget and forecast planning in close cooperation with all other departments,
- Ad-hoc reporting
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly reports with Group standards
- Perform detailed budget variance analysis vs Plan/Forecast/ Previous year with explanation and commentary
- Perform cash forecasts
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, budget, reporting and controlling area in the production company
- University education with accounting or finance related degree
- Experience in Polish and international accounting standards
- Strong knowledge of commercial and tax laws
- Ability to prepare tax reports CIT and VAT
- Experience with the use of information technology to effectively satisfy business needs (ERP software)
- Good written and oral communication skills in Polish and English
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel
- Analytical thinking, result oriented, self-disciplined, self-motivated, attentive to deadlines.
