The successful candidate will play a key role in further development of the company, its strategy and he/she is expected to be a business partner for key business managers in the region

Our client is an international manufacturing and distribution company. The company offers unique products and services to clients globally. Currently, due to changes of the company's structure, they are seeking to recruit an experienced individual for a position of Finance Director.
Description
-
Act as finance business partner for the local and regional management and support execution of operational and financial strategy
-
Manage the preparation and assure the accuracy of company-wide management information
-
Cooperate closely with the commercial team and provide financial support to assure that pricing offered and margins are in line with the company goals

Play a key role in cost management, looking for opportunities in cost optimisation
-
Drive the company through the phase of processes improvement and operational transformation
-
Assure that all statutory, tax and consolidation reports respect national accounting principles and procedures and are done within the expected time-frame
-
Lead financial performance reviews and budget variance analyses
-
Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
-
Manage and co-ordinate the annual budget cycle
-
Control and minimise legal and business risks
-
Lead the finance team
-
Represent the company during internal and external audits
Profile
-
10 years of experience in finance gained in international manufacturing environment (ie. automotive, consumer goods sector), in companies with >EUR 100mln of annual turnover
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role
-
ACCA or CIMA qualification is a prerequisite
-
High level of competence in commercial finance / finance business partnering
-
Track record in change management, process optimisation, cost management
-
Competence in accounting & tax management, treasury/cash flow management, risk management, budgeting, controlling and reporting
-
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
-
Hands-on approach, communications and interpersonal skills including ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial people

Ambitious, keen to take on additional responsibility
-
Range of systems experience, including planning and forecasting tools
-
Very good command of English is a must, fluency in Polish
- Availability as of 1st of March 2019
