Finance Director (start-up project)
The chosen candidate will be supporting CEO during the start-up with various financial activities. The Finance Director will supervise and monitor finance and commercial areas. These include, in particular, financial accounting, commercial in-house services, controlling, taxation and personnel.

Our Client is a German media / gaming company. Due to their expansion in Poland, we are looking for experienced, result-driven and business-oriented professional for a strategic position of Finance Director.

Key member of the start-up project of the Polish entity in Warsaw

Play active role in the management of the company
- Responsibility for strategic and operational management of financial, accounting, controlling, HR areas
- Participate as a key leader in the business planning process and work with leadership and Group Board Members in the strategic planning and goal setting for the organisation. Participate in decision-making of any investments through providing detailed analytical costings and value-adding insight
- Providing Financial Management support throughout the Group to ensure accurate and timely reporting as well as advising on all financial aspects of the development of the location, county and region.
- Management, development of cost efficient financial operations and processes for business controlling, financial and management accounting, treasury, investments, risk management, taxation, auditing and credit controlling, legal, facility and asset management issues
- Development of reporting systems and conducting monthly and on-going financial reporting to HQ
- Executing corporate policies and guidelines
- Co-operation with external and internal auditors
- Develop and implement new tools to aid in the effectiveness and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis
- Managing a team consisting of over 3-4 people
Profile
- Master academic degree in finance
- At least 7-10 years of experience in financial management
- Experience in start-up projects will be a great advantage
- Strong mix of technical financial knowledge (PAS, IFRS) along with commercial acumen
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work independently
- Ability to quickly build trust and confidence
- Passionately strives to achieve results; energetic and high level of dedication; ability to handle stress
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Polish and English; knowledge of German language will be an added value
