Finance Controller
Our client is a well-established international company. To support their office operations in Poland we are seeking to recruit an experienced in commercial environment, ambitious, open-minded and charismatic candidate for the position of Finance Controller who will act as a Finance Business Partner for company's management.
Client Details
Selected person will work as an independent specialist cooperating with company's business centre and reporting directly to Financial Director. New finance business partner will be responsible for management of forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting processes with focus on the region. Ideal candidate has strong commercial and business acumen as well as business partnering approach.
Description
- Coordinate short- and long term forecasts preparation for various functions in the organization (Full P&L)
- Support the business through the planning cycle - annual budget and mid-year forecast
- Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures
- Perform monthly closing activities / expense and Business profitability analysis: reports to local management and departments' heads, to Regional HQ ( expenses, Full P&L, Product P&L vs various benchmarks)
- Support Financial Director by providing accurate and relevant management and financial information
- Coordinating the development of strong finance and commercial awareness within the Marketing function
- Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits as well as cooperation with external auditors
- Take responsibility for managing financial business performance by providing insightful analysis of trends and issues on the regional market
- To support new business commercial activities in order to build strategic input to optimise growth and efficiency
Profile
- University degree in finance/economics, professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) will be a strong asset
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role preferably
- Deep understanding of all P&L and Balance sheet components
- Strong strategic thinking combined with excellent analytical skills and detail orientation
- Working knowledge of ERP class system, SAP is a must
- Very strong Excel skills
- HFM knowledge as an advantage
- Fluent English
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proactive approach
- High energy level, self starter
