For our Client – international manufacturing company – we are looking for a person to fill the position of Finance Controller.
The successful Candidate will be responsible for managing the daily finance operations and leading a team of highly skilled professionals, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial information that meets needs of local and group management. Moreover, his/her scope of duties will also cover reporting accurate timely information to corporate office in accordance with agree timetables, providing financial and commercial support service to the wider management team on commercial matters and operating an environment of strong robust and effective financial internal controls in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines and company policies. Finance Controller will review and interpret the production plans to formulate the financial aspects of the budget, monitor all the component parts of working capital, organise appropriate action to ensure it is controlled and minimised in total, provide a financial appraisal of potential capital investments, coordinate tax filings, statutory accounts, audits and other compliance matters.
We are looking for a person competent in financial reporting, who has more than 5 years of experience in finance (experience in audit or in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage). Fluent knowledge of English, university degree, US GAAP/IFRS reporting, awareness of Polish direct and indirect taxation, excellent Excel skills, numerical reasoning skills at management norm and working with financial systems is a must. We are looking for Candidates with strong interpersonal skills and strong sense for accountability, who are team players- regularly contribute to team discussions and problem solving. The perfect Candidate should seek ability to apply a strategic perspective as well as paying attentions to details and to work independently.
