For our Client, an international engineering company, we are looking for experienced, motivated and ambitious Candidate for the position of Finance and Administration Manager.
The job of the Finance and Administration Manager will include coordination of the external accounting office as well as checking quality of delivered work, maintenance of general ledger and sub-ledgers (fixed assets, inventory, sales ledger, purchase ledger, cash books) and familiarisation with underlying accounting record entry processes. The person on this position will have the ownership of local statutory reporting requirements as well as credit control and supplier payments processes. The scope of duties will include: preparation and submission of all company tax returns (VAT, CIT, employment taxes), preparation and submission of supporting statistical information (Intrastat), monthly reporting of financial information to UK head office team. Finance and Administration Manager will be dedicated to liaising with external tax advisors to assist in producing annual transfer pricing report as well as liaising with external auditors. Will be also responsible for processing of monthly payroll.
To be successful in this role you will have to have at least 8–10 years’ experience on accounting positions in multinational company (experience in engineering/technical company will be highly appreciated), Master’s Degree in Finance or related, ACCA certificate (preferably) and fluent English (at least B2/C1). Our client is also keen on considering Candidates with Big4 experience (general audit or related). It is necessary for you to have very good knowledge of Polish GAAPs, IFRS and taxes (mainly VAT, CIT). What is crucial for the position is the ability to handle independently the variety of complex tasks and to work under pressure in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment. If you are able to understand the business and their key drivers of success, this position is for you! We need the Candidate to relate to others with candor, openness and transparency as well as to build trust across all the organization members. We need you also to have professional expertise in Excel as well as experience in working with ERP systems (especially Symfonia/MS Dynamics). We need you to present great managerial skills and ability to motivate the people.
