Compliance:
o Develop, maintain and apply regulatory expertise
o Identify upcoming regulatory changes and coordinate implementations of regulatory changes
o Support compliance process, assure compliance and input on regulatory challenges.
Innovation:
o Provide regulatory input to innovation projects (interpret and apply current regulations)
o Claims support and developing guidance documentation.
Advocacy:
o Support issue management
· Proficiency in relevant EU regulations.
· Strategic influencer.
· Trustworthy decisive leader.
Experience
· Minimum 5 years’ experience managing product safety or regulatory affairs in a multinational food company.
· Higher degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Toxicology or similar food safety relevant field.
· Track record in developing a strategic agenda, delivering through others and working with virtual teams
· Excellent external networks / credibility with regulatory authorities.
· Travel Required-Approximately 10% depending on role and business needs
