Engineering Manager (FEA/CFD Teams)
Lokalizacja: KrakówFor our Client we are looking for the best Candidate for the position Engineering Manager (FEA/CFD Team).
Main responsibilities:
- Working closely with Krakow customers and stakeholders to estimate and manage workload
- Ensuring best possible team allocation and utilization: allocating team members’ responsibilities and assignments, managing capacity to meet forecast demand from the customers
- Maintaining daily operational efficiency of the Team
- Driving Team objectives and competencies
- Following up each individual with respect to personal competence development
- Driving continuous improvement within the area of quality
- Actively supporting engineers in resolving technical issues
- Managing engineering personnel: hiring new staff, negotiating terms, resolving conflicts, motivating, performing assessments, validating salaries and bonuses
- Managing respective team budgets incl. planning and control of software utilization
Required qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering or similar)
- At least 4 years of professional experience in managerial position
- At least 2 years of experience in conducting numerical calculations with using state-of-the-art software
- Experience in conducting stress or/and flow analyses
- Familiarity with heat transfer and multi physics phenomena
- Very good understanding of material properties
- Familiarity with software licensing systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Fluent Polish and English
